A 35 year old female, recently divorced, presents to the emergency department at 1630. The nursing note provides the following information:

Quit accounting job earlier in the day
Left work at noon
Took "handful" of pills and small amount EtOH
Found by boyfriend, incoherent, at 1430
Seizure

SaO2 100% on RA

As you enter the room, the patient begins seizing again. She is put into the proper position and protected from further injury. The seizure resolves within minutes.
